Original picture
The first step is to send me a high quality picture of the subject in the pose you want. You can send the photo to me either by e-mail or by regular mail if you prefer. Select a photo that is clear and has all face features clearly visible. Remember, the better the photo I’m drawing from, the better the final product. If you prefer to send me a digital file, please make sure that it is scanned at least 300 dpi, or taken with a good resolution digital camera. When you have the file ready to go, you can click here to proceed directly to the ordering page. If you wish to do things the old fashioned way, you can also mail me a hard copy photo. I promise to take extra care with your photo and to return them with the finished portrait in the same condition I received them.
Sample proof

will start the portrait and email you a scan of the proof within seven days of receiving your photo and description. Once you receive the proof you will be asked to review it and make any suggestions of what you would like changed, or give your approval. If changes are requested, I will give you another e-mail of the revised proof within three days.
Once I receive your approval I will have the finished portrait mailed out within three days, after receiving full payment.
